Day 24'935

A message to my three children if I'm not around anymore in 24'935 days.

To Giacomo, Stella and Teresa

It's March 2024, and earlier this year, I started The Sprezzatura Company, a company and political movement that one day shall be a new kind of Nestlé that stands for freedom in the world.

Reading this message, you'll know whether it all worked out. I'm two months in, and it really doesn't look like it yet.

Traction is still almost at zero. I have about eight followers on YouTube, twenty followers on TikTok, and usually around five people who like my stuff on LinkedIn. There is no commercial business yet, and almost no one has shown interest in joining a new political movement about sustainability and freedom.

Friends are asking me why I'm wasting my time with this.

That's the reality right now. I could be discouraged. I had two business failures in the last nine years, and now I'm a family dad with responsibilities and bills to pay.

But I'm not discouraged. I'm more motivated than ever. And I'm excited that you'll be able to read this and hold me accountable for my actions in the years and decades to come.

It's 5 am, and I'm writing this little letter to you. After this, I will go for a run, get all of you ready for the day, bring Giacomo to Kindergarten and go to my full-time job (a friend's company I also deeply care about).

Wherever you are in your own life now and whatever thing you're working on. If you feel you're stuck, if you feel it doesn't matter, and if everyone around you thinks you're a bit crazy:

Don't get distracted. Do you still believe in the mission? Keep going. If necessary, keep going for 25,000 days.

Love you,

Papa Fabio
