There’s No Such Thing as an “Impact Startup”
If it’s a startup—whether pre-product-market-fit or even post-PMF but pre-scale—it doesn’t have the volume to create real impact.
🧘♀️ You’re selling to early adopters.
🍀 A small fraction of the market.
🥦 Mostly consumers who already have good habits.
Real impact only starts at scale. But once a company reaches massive scale… it’s no longer a startup.
So, where does the biggest impact potential lie? With legacy brands.
If KitKat replaced just a fraction of its dairy protein with animal-free alternatives, millions of cows would go into retirement. Just as an example.
Yet nobody talks about this. Because revolution sounds sexier than evolution.
Let’s drop the fake impact and let the evolution begin!
